These cells shut off epigenetics and many other cellular functions. They might help with cancer and healing, but they can aggravate inflammation and aging. Mayo developed Sprycel, a combination of dasatinib and quercetin, to deal with zombie cells. Sprycel led to a 30% improvement in lifespan when applied to lab animals.
