In a previous video, I discussed a protein called MGP (matrix gla protein) and its role in calcification. To do its action, the protein has to be activated by vitamin K2, and in turn, enables calcium removal from artery walls. This is a quick video to summarize specific MGP points and connect some loose dots before we proceed with the rest of our vitamin K2 stories.
