We now have a "clot-buster" drug, TPA (Tissue Plasminogen Activator) which makes it possible to greatly mitigate the disasters of many strokes. But first, we have to recognize the stroke. Fewer than 40% of Americans recognize some of the more common early signs of stroke, like confusion & inability to talk.
