David Sinclair's team used a virus to insert Oct4, Sox2, and Klf4 (OSK) genes to reprogram youthful gene expression and DNA methylation. The study led to the restoration of sight in mice blinded at birth. The team also found this method to work for retinal blindness. The study shows that we're not losing our DNA or genes.
